  • Your opinions please

I'm having a 2" body lift and a 2 1/2" suspension lift in Dec sometime.
I want to change my tyres for AT's and would like your opinions on which to go for, ie price, looks, noise, etc etc.
As it will be going up near 5", size will also be a contributing factor to the rubber i choose. The wheels are 16" and they're for a 3rd gen.
AND I WANT TO GET EM MUDDY!!

Edit: pics would be nice too

Well , A/T's .... It HAS to be BFG A/T's!!

A quality tyre, Long life , good road an offroad manners!

C'mon if its good enough for Lindas Bullit then its good enough for us mere mortals!

    Sizes..... 285/75/16 is a 33x11.50 and 305/70/16 is 33x12.50

From what ive read on Yotatech - get the 305's

If you get 285's you'll only look at them an think - Shouldve got bigger!!

Well - one Surf has General Grabber AT2s and the other has BFG ATs.....and to be honest, there is nothing between them - apart from the cost - the GGs are a lot less money!
Too old to care, young enough to remember

Pretty much the same tread pattern as Kumho 831's (road venture MT) but much more expensive. Cooper STT similar but with better side lugs - and also cheaper.
