cv boot change today tip- don't do it on your own I must have adjusted the trolley jack under the wishbone 30 times to get the b u gger out and back in.
You really could do with someone to lift and lower trolley as required.

good reason to get some manual hubs when you do a lift mate.without a diff drop or manual hubs you can do 2-3 sets of boots ayear !!

Do they run the same bearings?

you will never move the flange nuts with arm power leave the wheel on jam 17mm spanner against the rail and turn the wheel to break nut seal take a bit of effort

well you can do a diff drop,but that sort of defeats the idea of doing a lift.
you can get warn manual hubs from tonyn for 150 quid the pair,they are really easy to fit,and just stop everything turning,saves a a wee bit of fuel as well.
