dubious to use veg oil HELP please

as with any other tax records you must keep records of any veg oil used as fuel for 6 years

Is that just reciepts for the oil or a record of how much you put in?

It's upto you mate, the reciepts tend to fade to unreadable after a couple of months anyway so some are also keeping a written record. I keep a book in the car an just write in the mileage and what I put in everytime I fill up, diesel or veg, as you would with a fleet vehicle. I think it'd be wise to show the diesel usage aswell. That way there should be no discrepencies for the IR to try and shaft you on.

why white spirit

just pour it in mate , 20 ltrs of derv . 15 lites of veg oil and 1 ltr of white spirit or unleaded , and drive it

i take it that derv is diesel, but my main question is why the white spirit.
do you mix it all befour putting it in or just put in straight into your tank and let it do the mixing.

it gives it a bit more oomph when running,aids cold starts , plus it thins the mix a bit also .



some pre mix it , i just chuck it in and let the return and intake mix it 4 me.

i use 1l of white spirit to 15l of veg oil.give it a good shke before pouring in the tank so its well mixed

True filtering is good but it dont alf stink!

Mine doesn't smell,,unles you're sitting behind me in a traffic queue!!!!!

i still think that the white spirit is wrong,but then im probably wrong lol,but i'd be worried bout it damagin anything it touched!
