dubious to use veg oil HELP please

hi there
read lots of posts about using veg oil but still not sure.
so to clarify,

1. go to my local Tesco's.
2. purchase X amount of vegtible oil.
3. pour it straight into my fuel tank with an equivalent amount of diesel.
4. drive around the land costing half as much.

do i need any special gadgets or gizmoes to to this.

Flawed maths mate derv full price veg half price 50 - 50 mix you save 25% not 50% I run 50-50 with no mods and no heater reduce as temp drops.
Buy a fuel filter throw it in glove box as veg cleans system you may need to change it in a few months

the other thing to do is look around at the faces on the other people at the fuel pumps as they see you putting a few bottles of tescos finest into your filler neck, ive just come back from filling mine 50/50 and had some woman staring at me , scratching her head, it is soooooo funny
