if u go ahead and do it im sure some on here will let u know if it looks outa balance----better get photoshop on the go first me thinksOriginally posted by yoshieThink I would cut it to keep back seats unlike the roughtrax one which is chopped to a two seater
Do you think that would leave enough deck to look balanced??
I will need to get photoshop out to see.Surf.gone but not forgotten

to be absolutely honest, no. but i'm not a big fan of double cab pickups anyway tbh. they don't do anything well, they seat 5 but not comfortably, (and the rear seats in the surf ain't that comfortable), they carry loads but not with a massive load area really. They generally have long rear overhangs (i know the surfs guilty of this too), i don't really see the point - either have a proper 4x4 with an enclosed load area that will either carry people, or stuff with the seats folded/removed or have a single cab pickup which will carry stuff but not people. I guess in some situations a double cab pickup is more practical, and i will admit double cabs generally look better than single cabs.Originally posted by yoshieThink I would cut it to keep back seats unlike the roughtrax one which is chopped to a two seater

If it's going to become an ongoing project vehicle that's something slightly different i guess, it becomes personal rather than practical then. In which case it's down to you to decide what you want to do with it.=========

my truck needs a spruce up the engine is first class but body starting to show it's age so I thought why not give her a new lease of life
Mind the more I look at the roughtrax two door the more I like it.
