Harley is not nasty, he's just protective of his "space", and a little misunderstood.

We took on a Husky x Collie, and shes mental, shes so soft and gentle the only danger of injury is friction burn from repetative licking.

I have learnt to kiss bye bye to my side of the bed as well, when we got her and I was working nights the missus decided she'd let her on the bed, now when I am in the bed I have about 7 stone of dog on top of me.

She has no manners, barks at other dogs and double decker busses, plays 24/7 and occasionally decides she fancies the post for breakfast....

That said I dont think I could get rid of her now, we were only going to foster her for a bit as she was a rescue and was going to be put down...
It's the last time i let the missus give me puppy dog eyes... it seems to end up with puppy dog hair on my pillow!!!

Pirate take some time out, and then have a look at other dogs, and as for the "friends"... I think that was the wrong description, my other halfs family are animal mad, her mum runs a horse retreat, but they would always understand people come first. You need to tell them in a calm collected manner, the reasons why and if they still dont accept your decision, show them the door, as the are obviously not as HUMANE as they claim to be.

Chin up m8, there is a dog out there for every one who wants one.

Think yourself lucky, our dog passes wind like theres no tomorrow, might have something to do with the chicken we are introducing into her diet, but by christ does it make your eyes water, (or is that being caused by Emmerdale, on the box).
