Transmission fluid cooler (auxiliary)?

Yep never thought of it, i've removed everything else too

I just need to make sure that a solder joint is going to be strong enough for the pressure inthe system, anybody know whether it is or not? Is it a high pressure that it runs at?

When i asked basicly the same question about the intercooler rad, The lovly boyo (i think) said it's not high pressure, hence only hose clips on the pipes to the rad,

Great cheers, ill solder it tommorow and fit it on tuesday afternoon, i have a stripped front end and vallance removed and a galvenised steel plate fitted for a bash plate, ill cut a hole centrally in it, and mount it in there flush so it looks neat, and that should be her.

A Range rover classic tranny cooler should be fairly easy to come by and relatively easy to work with in terms of fitting as the brackets are at the ends, and i think wide enough apart that it could be fixed in front of the rad.

just noticed the RR P38 engine oil coolers look like they could be used for something too, but they ain't cheap.
