The Wifes 206cc was bloing from the back end, Disovered the Flanged joint had rusted away. The BACKBOX is ok its the long pipe with Cat thats gone so my mates going to Sleeve it & weld for £30.
My buddys got a 88 VW Polo (dont hassle me! I didnt pick it) an anyway his exhaust is hanging off... Any ideas on where to source a cheap one?
No rush
take it off, wire wool it up with a power tool. then take it to a fabricators (like longlife (best bet) or powerflow (2nd best))to get welded back together. it will last probably til january or february next year.
they break around the weld where the pipe comes over the axle and into the back box. usually.

have they released paterned parts for these cc's yet? we were having one or more a week a few years ago when their exhaust started failing. only place to get an exhaust was peugeot themselfes, and i think it included the cat (which wasnt what was needed) think it was over £800 for the exhaust from them. the only option, or to come to us and have one custom made, for lifetime warranty for £250
