Buyers Guide

Hi Folks,

Newbie here... Looking to possibly enter the world of the Hilux Surf...

Thought I'd have a look on here to see if I can find a Buyers Guide highlighting the 'things' I should look out for when buying etc etc...

Tried a search but didn't bring anything up...

Can anyone either point me in the right direction or give me a few pointers...

Get a 2.4, Rock solid reliable, an way more powerful then those nasty 3.0ltrs...





Ok seriously though, Get a 3.0ltr. 2.4s with new heads are ok but you may aswell get those extra horses from day 1!

Spec varies across the whole range. Look for a decent priced one with all the features you like an then if you want extras, ask one of us an we can tell you where to put your extra £££

Auto! I owned a manual surf before this one an well....Autos are cooler cuz you can have your right arm stickin out the window
