Towing

Anyone know if autos are ok for towing?
Just brought a surf, paid for new tyres got rid of s type jap crap
New alarm fitted, radio, towbar etc spending goes on and on.........£££££
Love the car, seen top gear experiment they r indestructable have'nt tryed towing yet people say autos are no good your stuck in 1 & 2 gears I don't want to change the car now I have fallen in love. Sod the expence. I love the way peoples heads turn to stare.
I only want to tow a 1300kg caravan????

yeah, some people recomend getting an extra transmission oil cooler...
speak to marky, he's got a big caravan and knows all about it.

You will have no problems towing, I find it easier with an auto. If you plan on doing a lot of towing then it may be worth looking into getting a small oil cooler for the auto box.
