I'm not playing anything at the moment, last time I tried on-line I was on dial-up and the others were high speed - they moved around like they were on drugs - I was wasted in a blink of an eye

Just need to try a game that I can rest a while... then

I remember some youngster new grad came to work for us. Told me he was having a LAN party that weejend. Me being post 40 and having a normal life and real mates (rather than virtual ones) asked what the hell a LAN party was...

"Well, we all get our computers round to one of our houses (read studenty squat) and connect them all into a network, then we play games all weekend"

"Oh, cool" says I. "So you get a load of beer and get lashed and stuff?

"Oh god no!!! How can you concentrate if you drink?"

The look of puzzlement on my face... "OK - run that past me again... you have a 'Party' ... without... beer??"
