Window grills

has anyone made, or thought about making window grills for the rear side windows, along the lines of the ones you see on vans and defenders sometimes. I guess you can't buy them for surfs, i can't find them anywhere.

Prefer external but internal would be ok i guess.

a while ago i saw some bars that fitted inside across the back window of a surf.... not 100% sure what use they would be! you could easily smash an grab!


Something like that would probably have to be fitted inside.


Worried your surfs gunna get smashed into? Or dont you want to smash the windows off road?

mostly for offroad protection, i saw those bars, they were on ebay, but they were only screwed into the plastic trim. It's just an idea at the minute i'm not sure as they would have to be pretty heavy duty to offer any real protection.
