web page help (not Surf related)

I have a web page which I created in Microsoft front page which I now want to change. Is there a free web page creator available in which I can import my web pages from front page as I have realised frontpage has its pitfalls.
Thanks for any help.
PS. I am not great with this type of thing so it would have to be a quite easy programme to use.

As to whether you can import the FP files directly, I don't know. You'll probably just have a lot of dross to remove.

However, the W3C have their own editor which would be a good choice.

At least you know it won't be doing any skanky proprietary markup. Plus, the markup/code it creates will be totally compliant.

Edit: It is also a basic browser, so if your FP pages are on a live server, you can go to the URI with the editor and import/work on them that way too.
