lol good old redex it is then lol,drives fine,but wheen booted,plume of smoke,hot or cold

i normally put some atf in the fuel filter every so often as i think that does a better job than redex

Andy if you put your truck details in your profile then it will save a bit of time in the future if you need advice

Mine did the same until Apache showed me where to put the cable tie, now my black smoke is down by at least 50%

It blocks off the vaccum tube that operates the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve.

Mine is blocked off with the 2 metal plates - soon as it is warm - near on 0 smoke
