Took the Surf for its MOT yesterday…………..
And it failed:
Exhaust (centre box)
Passenger Steering idler
Hand break needs adjusting
Not too bad really as I did suspect that I would need an exhaust sooner or later.
Fortunately I had the Surf’s vin and model numbers stored in my phone and was able to listen in as the garage tracked down a complete exhaust in Chester (10 miles away) at a very good price….. even more surprising as we needed a 3.0 V6 Petrol exhust.and not a common diesel one.
They should have the bits by tomorrow and the Surf is due back in on Tuesday morning.
No other problems found or mentioned.
