8GB is $299 + 6% sales tax, and the 16GB is $399 + 6%

So with todays rate of £/$ 2.04 the 8GB is £155 and the 16GB is £207

save your self some ££$$ and get a Creative media player
the saving being the fact that it isnt a "aPPLE fashion accessory"

i got a creative zen vision M, earlier i nthe year

comes with 60GB harddisc
plays Mp3, and other music file
plays videos, and can output video and sound to a TV
comes with radio built in (unlike ipods)
stores digital photos for display
a partition in its drive can be used as an external harddisc to transfer files to another pc

latest gadget i got though is a HP Ipaq rx5935
a PDA that runs windows mobile
has built in GPS and tomtom navigator pre-installed, and has a car dash mount and 12v cigarette socket power lead
also has bluetooth, wireless and infrared connectivity
have set it up to check my home pop3 email and work outlook exchange email and calander
also can surf web on its tiny screen, play music, videos
open word, excel, powerpoint files and edit, and acrobat PDF
and install loads of other software and games
have put my 1:50000 anquet maps - mapping software on it too, and links to gps
and also a pda version of google satellites maps, againt with GPS positioning

a usefull gadget for when travelling,
it has a 400mhz cpu, 64mb ram, and built in 2GB flash rom storage
and a slot that i shove a 2GB flash ram card in for more storage
