Today ive had no end of Job Offers.
One was a 4 Month Contract.
Two was a Permanent Position with CITYLINK in the Office.
And ive just had an email from the HIGHWAYS AGENY

I am pleased to tell you that they are now recruiting for Traffic Officers in your chosen area

Ive accepted the CITYLINK one for now but i really want the Highways Agency Traffic Officer one

Weve decorated the spare room so you can stay over,

Ive been on the road a lot in the last 20 Years & seen a lot of Accidents etc
On some occasions ive been in the Right Place at the Right Time.
I once Rescued a young woman from a Wreck after she'd hit the Central Reservation, I always think on my feet so to speak & as her car was swerving out of control i'd already started to back all the Traffic down on the Motorway
I pulled up behind her car with Hazards on & roof mounted Beacon flashing. As i approached what was left of her car i instructed other road users to alert the Emergency Services. I was expecting the worst but i kept calm & composed. She got out of her car & was obviously Delerious she was staggering all over the place & was about to climb over the Barrier iinto oncoming traffic. I got there just in time & calmed her down. The Police arrived & took over. I was Commended by the Police & the Courts for my Actions.

We need more people like you mate, seriously - I had to stop traffic on the M40 the other night, there was a guy in a Grand Cherokee stuck in the outside lane where it narrows to 2, so I straddled both lanes, hazzards and amber strobe on, got out and got his car over to the hard shoulder, and got the traffic moving again, that had been backing up for about 5 miles......
