Went to the Rally Show at Chatsworth Park yesterday. What a brilliant nostalgia fest Everything from TR's and Healeys through Mini's, Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts, Stratos, TR7 V8 up to modern WRC stuff. They even had Bjorn Waldegard driving a Mk2 Escort - and at 63 years old setting a stage time that beat all but one of the other drivers (Gwyndaff Evans). Even saw a 911 shorten its nose against a tree
Some of the display stuff was good as well. They had the new Bowler (supercharged Jag engine) and an Aston Martin rally car - it was its first time on gravel and it was still geared for 180mph top speed They both sounded really nice though.
Apparently it's going to become an annual event so look out for next years.
