They are the things the SAS use to clear rooms, they throw them in you get a big flash and a massive bang, it stuns the people in the room. I have some spare ones in me shed

Most paintball sites sell pyros, but you're not normally allowed to take your own in. Dunno what the military flash bangs are like but we use some of the smaller ones to scare the $$$$ out of kids (+staff) when we run 'survival' weekends. Only seen/heard military ones from a distance, but they're all good fun.

im gonna make me some body armour at work.i dont fancy having bruised man bits.

Have to say I did this about 18 months ago and it took about a month for the 30+ bruises to finally disappear. Having to wear a full face mask/helmet is very limiting for vision and if you wear glasses most of the masks won't fit properly, so you will have trouble seeing anything.

Now, if you really want to try a fun game, try Airsoft instead. You get to use realistic fireams (not shiney steel tubes with big fat hoppers on top) powered by battery or gas, shoot 6mm plastic BB's at people that still hurt a little (if you get hit on exposed skin) but get to camo up so that you are less easy to see. And the range of weapons available are huge, from M15/16, AK47's, MP5's etc plus loads of full size, realistic weight pistols. And the ammo is far cheaper than paintballs, like £10 for between 3000-5000, depending on where you buy them.

Put "Airsoft" into Google and see what is available, or go to http://www.airsoftmap.co.uk/

The map is a bit out of date, as the Reading site is no more but there are a few others around.
