all lumpy in the mornings..

  • all lumpy in the mornings..

    when i start my truck in the mornings now, i always wait for the beep, but now it still mis-fires for a couple of seconds and chugs out bit of smoke. after its stopped messing about its fine, and power is good

    think its time for new glow plugs. how much are these anyone know?

      I use, sorry used these , they're as good as Toyota parts.

        Too much veg oil, reduce the mix, as its a bit colder the veg might be thickening in the injectors, once the engine warms up it goes away.

                      worth doing i had the same problem and it was fixed with new injectors, and i am still running 30 liters oil and about 20 liters diesel.
                      it never rain it pours! glad I got the 4X4

                          Its definitely worth changing your glow plugs anyway, as winter is on its way and its only £20, you dont want to get stuck on a minus temp morning. If it was doing it when cold it seems that is the problem. If it does it when warm its injector or some other fuel delivery problem.

                              I havent, but he comes highly recommended from TonyN, and beleive he can make veg oil biased parts.
