Video editing help

Hi All

Need to find a free download for a programme that can edit mpgs and splice them back together easy to use and don't loose quality

Anyone point me in the right direction?? one that you have used

What version of Windows are you running??
Newer versions of windows (XP and above I think) have a program included called microsoft movie maker. It's not powerful enough to make star wars or anything but for home video it is quite adequate and remarkably easy to use.
