i just renewed my road rent online.whilst on the site it had a link to the dvla and renewing your licence.
what you did was fill out an online form and this gave the site permission to access your passport records and take a scan of the picture the passport office hold of you.i just paid the cash over and can expect a new licence within ten days without having me photo done....spooky!!!
