  • My poor hands

Been doing my new job as 'Mechanically minded yardperson' for just over a week now . I hung up my spanners full time about 8 years or so ago . It is now killing me to work with spanners again . Part of the job is sharpening mower blades and hedge trimmer/cutters , I cut myself 4 times yesterday on the palms of my hands on these hedge cutters I was sharpening . My left hand is throbbing and my arm is also startring to throb aswell !!
Rubbed some anticeptic cream on them , but my hands are just suffering . Hope they ease up as I get into the job.
Otherwise I am enjoying not working for pen pushing , graph making , stat watching , penny pinching , moron Insurance co's.
I do miss my company car though .

After quite a long time 'flying a desk' as they say, I've been making stuff and repairing stuff in between EMC testing. Great to get your hands dirty again isn't it?

It's a back burner project. I've got a Bushmaster 30mm cannon to play with next week.
