Had to go halfords for a footpump so thought I'd enquire about oil filter, told it was a special order part and it would be 19 quid odd, I told him to shove it. H

you can get the filter kit for that delivered from milners.Oil,air and fuel

Oil filters can be obtained from motor factors for around 10 quid. Just ask for an oil filter for a 3.0 hilux diesel.

milners do a filter kit (air ,oil,and fuel) for a tenner

Well definitely not halfords, another 500 miles till service so probably order all from milners/roughtrax anyway, hate being ripped off, the way he said it was like it had to come from japan, typical halfords pr*ck. H

It's the same filter as used on the 2.4 and probably most of the diesel pickups as well. I think that even some LandCruisers use the same item. Must be one of the commonest oil filters around

i got mine yesterday from autostores in kidderminster
oil filter listed for a 2.4td pickup == £5.80
fuel filter again for pickup but the same == £5.50
6litres of semi 10/40 oil === £10

i never use halfrauds as they always say it needs to be ordered and its always a 2 week wait for twice the price
