ive got an AMD athlon 64, 939 socket that im going to be looking for a new home for. it only overclocks to 2.8ghz so im not happy. its only single core. it works well, but im after 3ghz at least, so im going dual core >3ghz.
all i have is the processor though

i paid £39.39 + VAT + postage back in january, it has 3 years AMD warranty with it, so still over 2 years left
not sure how much they go for now tbh. (i dont want much since were forum members, i would like to give it away)
im trying to find myself a decent processor. looks like i will be going for a 1.8ghz opteron. everyone is boasting 3ghz to 3.2ghz, on standard volts and air cooling.
i will be on water, and pelt so ill be about 0 degrees C average temp

i have got a heat sink and fan to go with it most likely too

Whats the BUS SPEED & Voltage for the CPU. Is it AT or an ATX Board?

current cpu - athlon 64 bit - speed 200mhz multiplier x11 @1.4v - atx motherboard

opteron is 200mhz x9 @ 1.3 (may be 1.35v)

fsb/bus speed/ cpu speed is a bit of a grey area. no-one seems to know what it should be called.
