  • cable ties save the day!

just got back from a trip to Northumberland and busted the drivers side diff mount on a forest track! I think I broke it a few months back (explains the ARB rubbing on prop) but only noticed now its worn through my front exhaust!!
anyways galvanised wire and cable ties saw me all the way home....

[off to see if anyone sells them]

when me and my mate picked up a hilux v8 from essex, we got halfway back before it broke down on the m25.
took me ages to work out what was wrong as i wasnt driving it at the time. turned out that a screw had come out the destributor making the timing retarded.
all i had in the van was a computer mouse, so i broke the wire off, and tied it round the dizzy and it got us home like it was brand new

cable ties would have worked here too, they're wonderful
    Oh Nana, what's my name?

Well, r/trax don't do 'em, so I guess Toyota might be the best bet, at least you'll know they're right.
