My neighbour just got a Mazda RX8 - a couple of weeks later, hes sold it. Hated the attention from the 'boy racers' HUGE fuel consumption an the fact he got pulled by every cop that went past!

the legacy twin turbo 2.5 is very very quick imho. ive had the priveledge of driving one of those as mentioned.
even if you get the 2.0 turbo import (i dont know if you can get a wrx version) your still up over the impreza. the imports make a lot more power than the uk spec ones and will probably come with more stuff inside.
my friend had an impreza @ 300hp and as soon as that turbo come in its like small aeroplane taking off.

I nearly took one of the wings on one of those out a while back! It was going around a bend, Thought it was a suburban so didnt accomadate for the HUGE arch an complete wheel on my side!
