    getting my cheapo ebay alloys blasted this weekend so i can paint them, anyone ever used this http://www.matramagic.co.uk/product.php?productid=16284, a bike forum recommends it for wheels, or does anyone know of anything else better/tougher

    I've used that before on my bullbar. It's not that tough, had stone chips all over it within a couple of weeks.
    Powder coating is the best for wheels.

      i'd say powder coating... you can get some great colours these days...

        Anyone got any idea on costs for powdercoating?

        Also, i assume you have to have your tyres off the rims ?

          There's a place in Bridgend that charge 60 quid per wheel and you can have any colour, even chrome effect finish. They remove, refit and balance the tyres too.

          A bit far for you though I guess!
