Got the keys to our new place today. Still beaming like a cheshire cat, it really is nice and ideally situated. The surfs doing sterling work with a trailer moving bits and bobs before removals do the rest next week. As usual you find there's loads to do in the coming months but hey, I wouldn't have it any other way!

Already sick of the smell of paint. The missus has decided the 4 days between buying and moving in is adequate to redecorate!!!

When it comes to decorating, I'm with Mr Bean.......bag of gun powder from
empted fire works in a tin of paint, just make sure your fuse is long enough
