When a Toyota Surf is imported into Britain, is it imported to EU or British specifications?
If imported to EU specifications, surely this would allow you to legally tow a 2.5 metre wide caravan in the UK as the UK is part of the EU and visitors from the EU can legally tow a 2.5 metre caravan?
Nowhere on my V5 does it specify anything that prevents one towing a 2.5 metre caravan. Your views please.

UK v5 means it's uk registered, therefore covered by UK regulations as if it were a UK domestic market vehicle.

Also, a 2.5metre caravan would have to be legal to tow with a normal car in the EU country in which you live. It's nothing to do with where the towing vehicle originates, but where you have your permanent place of residence and in which your car is registered.
