Repainting the wheel arch extensions on my 2nd gen.
Colour of the car is burgundy/grey.

Can anybody tell me if you can get a paint to mach the toyota colour from any motor factor type place?

I have bought a tin from motorpoint, the colour of the lid looked right but now I have a grey with a green tinge.

    hi
the paint code for your body colour should cross reference across to 2 paint codes, one will be the body colour, the other will be the trim colour(grey colour)
what is your paint code and ill have a look in my colour book for you when i get a chance

            Re Paint colours

Hi Jonny thanks for the reply,

But is the Wine red a different colour to burgundy?

Are the codes you have derived from the colour codes I listed?

            Many thanks

                Don't Panic

I have the paint I need.

I Emailed my local Toyota dealer Ron Brooks.
Very quick reply but couldn’t help.
They suggested I try a spray shop that could colour match.

                So I did

Not only did their paint shop guru match the paint (he said the colour code was listed) but as I have helped one of the directors with stuff in the past I now have a pint of grey metallic paint for nothing.

I just have to get the spray gun out and tart my baby back up!

Thanks all who tried to help.

                Steve
