  • Looks like the beast is out of action

While out setting up the offroading today i have somehow knackered the wheel alignment.I have put on different inner and outer t/r/ends and the n/side wheel is still pointing in looking from the front and but it maywell be the o/side thats the prob tho as looking underneath at the lower wishbone the chasis/frame the w/bone bolts to is bent tight against the wishbone but only the front as your looking at the truck. Can i try to bend the chais/frame out away from the wishbone.
The tyres are screaching as i'm driving along and getting very hot.
Any advice from you geniouses out there

I knocked mine out a little more than it already was too. By the way Rich, Taylors quoted me 60 quid for full steering alignment, caster, camber toe and the full works. I just need to do me cv boot 1st.
Didnt think it had done that much to ur surf m8, flinkin blip.

richard chain the front arm round a tree and give it a good yank backwards.see if that will straighten it.

TonyN said the same thing just now on the phone. But what i can't understand is although the front edge is bent in on the off side but how would the n/s wheel point inwards top to bottom and back to front

well if you have damaged the o/s wheel chances are that the steering rack arm (track arm)is pulling the n/s wheel in .that is the only connection between the two apart from the drive shaft but that wouldnt be pulling it across.the two arms are connected through the rack as one pulls the other pushes in the opposite direction.
