Just got a phone call from Barry at roughtrax .................

......the wheel bearing i put in the front MAY be subject to a recall......can't check it as the whole rear end is up in the air.......

As least i now know i MAY have to strip the front down again .....and that i was never meant to do the rtts this year

Just my fecking luck

Hmm, when did you buy your bearings? I bought a set in early July, sure hope they're not subject to the recall too.

Had a reply back from Barry, and luckily I'm good. The problem only exists for parts ordered during August, and any affected customers have already been contacted.

He also mentioned that the problem is actually an incorrectly supplied part from the suppliers, rather than a defect in the part.

Keep this in mind though....at least you're still physically capable of repairing your truck!!!

Mine now needs MOT'ing, Insurance and TAX at the end of the month and due to recent circumstances, i can't sort any of it!!!!!!!
