i had a couple of soft lifters and a few of the cam lobes have worn craters in them not to mention wearing down the lobes themselves.so its a complete cam and lifter change.

Agree with you mate, On the 1st pic i did take out pretty much all the extra bits. Its literally just the tail light section and the wheel arch.

First one would be a better offroad tool.

People call me that all the time.

i like the first one.thats exactly how i was gonna do it.but the longer one does have its advantages i can mount my 35" spare on the rear deck lid and also relocate my rad to a roll bar mounted just behind the rear window.

Mark, if you want another pic with a little less taken out, just say! It'll take two secs.

There are pros an cons to both really. I love the back end on a surf. so i personally wouldnt bob mine. But they do look great bobbed. How about you get some sewing gear an make a can back style top for it?!? Would be *insert swear word* awesome!!!!

Just make sure you dont lose your amazing speakers in the back! :

cheers rod but i do like the first one looks like as apache said a proper tool.as for the speakers i was gonna take the rear seat out and fit another pair of cobras in and put the speakers in pods mounted either side of the bucket seats.
