Killearn is one of those places just off the beaten route. If you're going west from the bottom of Loch Lomond... you miss it. If you're going north from Glasgow.... you miss it.

I've only ended up in Killearn if an accident has closed a road and I need another way to go.

Maybe not the best base for a hostelry if it needs passing trade.
