If so can anyone give me an idea as to what it would cost for a new cylinder head (fitting included) on a ctroen Dispatch van?
My usual mechanic who does my repairs is unfortunately away so I had to go to another Garage who has charged £890 (cash to keep the vat down). I aint complaining just need some sort of idea if this is a fair price.

If that's an all in price then it seems pretty fair to me. If they charge about £60 per hour labour, and spent about 4-5 hrs doing the job then you can see how the cost adds up.

ive just had one done on the wifes citroen synergie same motor same engine same $$$$$$ horrible job . place in south london recovered it recon head as the belt went and snapped the cam in 3 bits . years warrenty sorry mate 600 smackers . was quoted 1500 from citroen
