Now I've been thrown a curve ball.

I know of a burgundy 2.4Td auto with 63K on the clock and had a new cylinder head before any heating problems started. FSH with the split rim wheels. Owner says it's very tidy.

Owner wants £2K for it. That seems a good deal but would I regret buying a 2.4?

I've got a burgundy 2.4 with new head, and no regrets either. They're still capable trucks, just a little slower than a 3.0 but not underpowered.

I paid £3k for mine about 18 months ago. £2k seems a little high, depends what comes with it to make it worth £2k

deffo black 3 litre (ok apache blue as well),i have a 2.4 burgundy and it is fine,still extremely capable on and off road (aint that so captain chaos)

but given a choice,

a 3 litre diesel 2nd gen in......... ..............."noir"
