Any Kayak guys out there??

Is there anyone into kayaking on the forum??

I used to do it in the Army, and after a few years break since coming out I'm looking at buying one.

As the Thames is a 10min drive away I will be using it mostly on the river, but I want one that's good for coastal waters too. I've been looking at some Touring boats, or hybrids.

I went to a new shop that has only been open a few weeks in Reading.

They are a top bunch of lads here, and have a great selection of boats. I have narrowed my selection down to a few. Here they are. Has anyone got one of these or know someone that has, any comments????

They do some very stable sit on Kayaks to cater for all sizes, we have 6 here for the larger person or somone who dose not want thier legs inside the boat, Great way of keeping fit and good for your upper body and waist

Wouldn't mind a one person kayak/canoe. Somethin for the Loch( mostly calm). Don't like that closed in spray deck,eskimo roll carry on though. Any suggestions???

A small Open Canoe, you could carry camping kit and the high sides keep you dry. Take a Tarpaulin and if your going down wind use it as a sail
