popped down to warwick this morning to see about a winch bumper
bad news at the moment the laser cutter they use is busted ian reckons it will be the end of october before they can sort out bumpers for surfs,
couldnt even pick up neros [ians]bumper phoned him before 1.30 lol to let him know ,
reckon the price is going to be about £290

had a couple of probs with truck on the run

speedo has stopped is it a fixable prob ?? as loads of speed cameras in london


OD light is flashing on and off all the time like an indicator if i turn od off light stays on regular

grateful for any advice on truck probs

ps val will keep in contact with 4x4 rus and will let everyone know when they are sorted

so does that mean your gonna end up with two gimp masks then dave.the o/d light might just be old fluid like stormy said check its condition.and fluid level.have a look around the g/box to see if any wiring has come astray.

changed atf fluid the other week dex3 , light was off before i topped up so it may have something to do with heat
willl check for any loose wires, where will connection for speedo be ??

just went out in truck [kfc ughhh ]no light came on was wondering if the heat would have made it flash on @ off all the way home 100+ miles
it didnt seem to affect the running of truck [90 mph on a private road lol]
temp gauge didnt move yahoo

Ah, didnt know the prices were creeping! just as long as you guys dont have to pay for there mistakes!!

Any word on one suitable for a 2" body lift yet joker?

yeah they just use an infill ie a strip of metal along back of bumper
they are going to move my atf cooler and fit bumper if i want
hopefully they will keep the prices under £300 , also took my winch up there and they said it would be fine , standard fitting

What winch do you have? Ive been looking at those ones on ebay that sell for like £160, But im not buying one till ive got my bumper fitted..

paid about £230 for mine its a 12000 lb winch bought from ebay,
ian at 4x4rus has got a similar winch just different name says they are fine but if you are doing winch comps you would have to get warn 21 as he calls them with faster wind in, he sons got one on hes landy

aint bothering with 4x4rus anymore find them quite difficult to get a
completion date for the bumper

approx £300 + vat , well thats the latest figure
