ive just signed up a few days ago.

i am currently in the process of trying to sell my 2 cars in order to buy a hilux surf.
my current cars are a 1990 mkiii toyota supra turbo, and a 1994 subaru impreza gl which is fully kitted with a turbo bodykit, adjustable shocks and full rally graphics,

i have been toying with getting a hilux for a while and have finally decided a surf is what im after, if i can find a reasonably priced 2.4td surf ill be happy, and bodywork condition isnt too important as thats what i do for a living

I have a 2.4 and i love it, but i would recommend a 3.0ltr if you can, cos mpg is similar but power is far more. Also there is less head problems with 3ltr, although have been known to go.

Make sure and wait for a really good one.

Why are you after a 2.4? Even most 2.4 owners generally say they'd go for the 3.0 given the chance again.

I reckon I've seen your scooby around the PC Worls carpark in worcester a couple of times...

the reason im after a 2.4 is that they generally seem to be a lot cheaper than the 3.0l, i went to see one in stourport earlier this week, a burgundy coloured one with chrome bull bars, 12months mot, a bit tatty paintwork for £1995 and i could have got a couple of hundred knocked off it, but he sold it within 2 days of it being for sale,
also im on a tight budget and need to sell both of my cars first to fund one,

as for my scooby its a green wagon lowered with one off flip painted alloys, silver graphics and tints,

To be honest, if you search hard you'll get a 3.0 for not much more money...

£2k for a tatty 2.4 is way too much. Check out eBay for achievable prices, and do drive a 3.0 and a 2.4 before you choose.

i really wanna get a surf as soon as possible,
my supra will be going on ebay soon if i cant sell it privately,
the scooby will be up for sale too, already had some interest in it ,

Ha ha ha Bibs is here an not drunk (yet) for once..... Still not makin' sense though. (no this is not an excuse to disregard the rest of the post)

We used to have a scooby - Sell it - far to common now. No matter which ya choose you will love it. Theyse all good in their own way but Burgandy is just better.
