dont know what its called but its the deadening stuff on the underside of the bonnet ,
mine is in a right sh#tty state ie flaking away,
so do i leave it out ??
replace with new ?? [if so where do i purchase from???]
or make something ???, if so any ideas what to use ??

I just ripped mine out .......if it gets too wet it will fall onto the engine ......And could cause a overheat

thats why i took mine out ian it was sagging onto engine
noticed any difference in engine noise since you took yours out ???

Not that bad ......it steams when it's raining though
