ok some of you know from the other forum that im doing a general tidy up on the recently purchased 1st gen from boyo.so i began with new paint on the underbody and chassis and running gear.

now ive moved on to the removable hardtop.


got the top refitted.



hopefully the next thing on the list will be a 2.2 petrol engine just to give it a bit more get up and go.

Those 33's make it look really nice. How does it drive with them?

And I still can't believe I sold it - oh well at least its gone to a good home

i cant believe you sold it to me either.you mad fool. .it drives ok with the 33"s on you hardly notice the difference.im still having trouble with that $$$$$$ carb though,but i hope to remedy that soon,hopefully tonyN has got a good 2.2 engine up his place,he gonna take the head off and see what its like inside.

phase two being the glass fibre panels.nigel is tied up at the mo with a truck show in kent this wkend but he said he would get back to me on tuesday to discuss the panels.
