    The cam belt is actually a chain one so does not need changing. WOOPS !

    I take it that is not the case then????

    Looks ok to me from the pictures, but I am guessing that is fairly low spec?

    I'm still looking

    There seems to be a huge range in early gen 3 prices.. from traders asking 5-7k for 97s, to private sellers asking 3.5k.... Makes it hard to budget for one!

        Yup I keep an eye on that section! (infact it was google searching that first led me there when I discovered the forum!)
