  • Wooden Worktops

Former SWMBO is going to be fitting a new kitchen when I've packed myself off to Leamington next month - does anyone here supply and fit wooden worktops?? She's after a walnut worktop - or oak, nice dark wood...

    Can anyone here help?

    TIA

you are talking serious money for oak or walnut worktops.

your best bet is go on here and ask, they will know of supplier near you

    http://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/

but they would be a bugger to keep. scratch easy, special finish for food stuffs, yearly maintnance.

    cheers scotty

These people have some sample prices on thier website if its any help!!

For a chippy, fitting real wood worktops is always a joy compared to that laminate sh*te!
Hope you find what u like
PS Dont rule out B&Q they do some reasonable timber tops ( home delivery only)

Thanks guys - the chances of her even knowing where the kitchen is, even after spending £20K on it, are very slim....so she'll probably never put a mark on the counter tops......washing up liquid in the dishwasher.....yes, she really did!

Whenever I've got a kitchen or bedroom furniture to make, I order my timber from here.....

              http://www.edens.co.uk/

click on price guide, then click worktops.

Iroko worktops look the biz especially with a coating or three of Danish oil.
