Not the best of qaulity as you tube tends to kill it a bit but you get the generall idea of the qauntity of mud there.

standard surf

well firstly those that didnt turn up missed out on one hell of a day,the course was very challenging and very muddy.and i almost took woodzies record for the most broken trucks.here are a few teaser pics im sure the rest of the guys that went have many more.a great day had by all.apart from lurch,but i'll let him show you what happened.watch this thread.

nice pics mark. the "standard" surf made it back to sunny eastbourne, though i do need to adjust the back brakes. im sat at work now ,quite knackered but looking at a dead muddy surf and still grinning. cheers for a great day out, and thanks to shirley for getting the video. well up for a trip out somewhere else,and will attempt to get some east sussex surfers to come along.

and never forget "you can surf to a standard in a standard surf" (lol)

Lurch got home at 02.30 this morning ......
We have just drained his autobox ....full of water due to a broken dipstick
as well as his transfer box and both diffs , again full of water .....

Changing all fluids and will see......at least we found how the autobox got water into it

but i do have to say you were present in the "standard" surf when we lost both rear mudflaps, although i do accept my enthusiasm may have had something to do with it!!!!!

Right here goes the aa saga, rang them at 20;05, was told they would be someone there at 21;05, turned up at 22;00 they did not get the call till 21;20 and he did not break down as i was told by the aa. Was told i did not have recovery cover from the free membership i got through my bank so had to fork out £93 for a years cover that i thought i already had !!!!
Recovery truck eventually turned up at 01;00, was tired, cold, hungry and well P I S S E D off by then, had rang the aa and told i was a priority (yeah right) and some one would be with me soon.
And if the truck dont run right after all this its going, i just cant afford to keep repairing it and am using money i want to mod to fix it instead.

Threaten to jump ship to the RAC, that should have got them to speed up. Hope you get the truck up and running.
