At 3pm I handed in my MOD pass and was escorted from the site.
21 years of service. Must admit if feels kinda odd...
Here's to 5 weeks holiday!
Wow 5 weeks, i'd be lost so many things i'd wanted to do but work has been holding me back then all of a sudden, no excuses. I'd book onto the next chunnel train and go for a drive for a few weeks
Is that it then, or is the curse of work still with you??
why 21 years? Would it not have been worth staying a n extra year to get your 22 years service and a full pension. Or have I missed a already covered conversation?

MOD pensions dont work that way anymore. They've been chipping away at terms and conditions for many years, and now it's not really any better than good pensions available in industry.
