Preferred oil??

Rights lads, this might be a stupid question as its subjective to your preferences.

I'm going to be going an oil change soon and have noticed on here the better weight is 10/40.

But, which brand do people use. I'm looking for a good quality oil but not at the stupid end costwise.

Any recommendations as there are so many out there to chose from.
