    Hilux on Top Gear driven to the north pole

    Anyone just see it on BBC 2?
    Clarkson in a modified new Hilux crew cab driving to the North pole, they had three Hilux's with big lifts, massive snow tyres and loads of rescue gear. They made it which is apparently the first cars to make it to the North Pole!
    Clarkson kept going on about how amazing the trucks were, quite an advert for the Hilux.

    I saw it. I thought its amazing too. Awesome truck, i definately want one of my own.

        That was a great episode, and a feather in toyota's cap. Bet the tree huggers aren't too happy about it though.

              It's hard to guess, Clarkson talked about the tyres costing £2500 each, thick underbody protection, lots of lift, onboard compressor, long range fuel tanks and heavy duty diffs but I'm guessing they had more than that, certainly one of the support vehicles had a big winch. They were probably sponsored by Toyota they all had 07 plates ending HLX.

                          whilst funny, clarkson is a prat!

                          look at the Toybota incident....purposely overturned that c'mon
                          and now the way he put his and all the other companions life at risk by driving the car the way he did...

                              Too right, half the time clarkson came across as a total d1ck.He was acting like a spoilt child, i bet he gets his wife to wipe his own bum!!
