Just got meself a cheap CB, mainly so I can have the big whip ariel on the spare wheel carrier
Thinking of fitting the CB itself by the interior light, as a sort of roof console. It's a nice easy job to route the cables from there too.Cutting steps in the roof of the world

mine's mounted same as smiffys just see it in the 1st pic below the radio. aerial is on the rear of the roof, where a spoiler would go ish. Flattened the curve on the back of the roof with a mallet to get a good fit, doesn't notice at all.

Got a modulator on mine, on the roof, fastened to the light bar.

Apart from not hearing anybody else around here, I also get interference from the engine around 2000rpm, have fitted a noise suppressor in the power line but has not made any difference.
Anyone remember how to set one of these CB thingys up?
