I was looking at Ebay the other day checking the average value of the 2nd Gen Surfs, and I came across the picture below.

Does anyone know what the circled part is? My Surf doesn't have this, and I am wondering whether I should have it?

It looks similar to an Ooo-gah horn (klaxon) i fitted to my PT Cruiser.
But taken from the angle the depth is deceiving.

I thought about that, But then it means theres no air filter as the box is the other side,

either the photo's on a funny angle or the turbo's moved, my intake never drops that low down the side of the engine
